HORN BOWS

The horn composites are truly a breed in itself. All of my modern fiberglass composite   bow models   derived from them. They are my inspiration and passion. I owe all of my knowledge of bow making to them. They are extremely difficult to create and only very few today can do so. It is an ultimate challenge for the bowyer and if successful in crafting them, a tribute to him as well. There are many today who claim success, but if that is the case, the evidence is not out there. If one decides to purchase one of these little wonders, he has to first attain the knowledge of stringing and maintaining them correctly. They are probably the most durable weapon out there, but they do require a proper care. They are more sensitive to climate then the modern bows and one has to be aware of it. The poundage will vary from summer to winter, from humid to dry climate. The well made horn composite will give you a life time of pleasure and will allow you to experience archery on a different level.
